Leandro Bacun: Could be a summer target for Reading

Bacun, 21, is regarded as a talented box-to-box player and the Berkshire club have reportedly had scouts watch him in action.

Nigel Adkins' side are currently sitting bottom of the table and seem to be planning for life in the Championship next season.

Agent Henk-Maarten Chin told Rtvnoord: "I do not deny that Reading is interested in Bacuna. He is a real box-to-box player and that they find interesting in England."

However, the Dutch club's managing director Hans Nijland has strongly denied any approach for the player, saying: "At present, no club has come forward and spoken to Groningen about any player."

Bacun, from Antillian ancestry, has scored five goals in 29 appearances for the Eredivisie club this season.
