Frtton Park: Court case has been delayed

The Trust tweeted on Wednesdy night to simply say: "Tomorrow's court case has been adjourned. We'll let you know when we find out why. £Pompey".

When contacted, the Trust's spokesman, Colin Farmery, said: "We're all scratching our heads and trying to work out what is going on.

"We will have to wait for the court to open in the morning."

The Trust are hoping that the club's administrators will allow them to take control of the cash-strapped League One strugglers, and much depends on their ability to purchase Fratton Park from former owner Balram Chainrai.

Should they do that, then they appear to have other things on their side, with the Football League having this week said their bid carried "significant merit".
