The Portsmouth Supporters Trust are hoping the court will find in their favour as they bid to buy the ground off former owner Balram Chainrai.
But the hearing has been put back, with PST chairman Colin Farmery, admitting: "We're all scratching our heads and trying to work out what is going on."
The Trust hope Portsmouth's administrators will allow them to take control of the League One side, with much of the decision resting on their ability to purchase Fratton Park from Chainrai.
They have already received support from the Football League, who this week said their bid carried "significant merit".
