Leandro Damiao: Wants to play for a club like Real in the future

Damiao has previously been linked with a host of top clubs across Europe, with Tottenham believed to have seen offers turned down by Internacional in the summer, while Premier League rivals Manchester United are also thought to be keen.

Real are another club reportedly interested in the Brazil international and Damiao has fuelled talk of a move by admitting he would like to play at the Bernabeu in the future.

But the 23-year-old is contracted at Internacional until 2016 and insists he remains committed to the club.

"Every footballer dreams of playing at a club such as Real Madrid, but I am only 23 and there is plenty of time to take that step forward," he told UOL.

"Now is not the moment to be thinking of playing in Europe, I just want to continue improving and scoring goals.

"I have a contract with Internacional, I love it here and do not feel the need to move away right now, although it is obvious that the day will come when I will leave Brazil to go and play in Europe."
