Harry Kane: Tottenham striker enjoyed loan spell at Millwall last season

Kane scored nine goals in 27 appearances for Millwall in the second half of last season and had spent the first half of this campaign on loan at Norwich City.

A metatarsal injury prevented Kane from making an impact at Carrow Road and he was recalled by Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas last week.

Millwall have been linked with another loan move for Kane and Jackett would be happy to have the 19-year-old back in his squad.

"He was such a success here we would welcome him back any time," said Jackett in The Sun.

Adam Smith is enjoying a loan spell at The Den and the full-back would also be pleased to see his Spurs team-mate Kane join Millwall.

"It would be nice," said Smith. "I am in regular touch with him and it was Harry who talked to me about how much he enjoyed playing for the club when he was on loan here before.

"He said it was a great club, that the manager would help develop me and the fans are lively. He was right about everything."
