Gareth Bale says it is 'flattering' to be compared to Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi but insists he does not model his game on the world's best players.

Interesting, he's flattered but doesn't pay too much attention to it. From what we know about our Gareth this sounds about right, he's pretty level headed (at present) and doesn't seem to take much notice of the hype. Also an interesting comparison between 'Arry and Andre and I think it shows in the more disciplined displays we've put in this year

Yep, he is flattered by the comparisons. He needs to be consistently brilliant for a protracted length of time to deserve such a comparison. Extremely good start mind.
