Andre Villas-Boas: Determined to guide Tottenham into the top four

Spurs, who will be desperate to break into the top four after falling agonisingly short last season, will make the short journey across the capital to Selhurst Park on 17 August.

North London rivalries with Arsenal will be rekindled on 31 August, with Andre Villas-Boas taking his side to the Emirates Stadium.

A home date with Chelsea and Villas-Boas' former mentor Jose Mourinho awaits on 28 September, while back-to-back fixtures against Manchester giants City (away) and United (home) provide a testing end to November.

Tottenham will head into Christmas with a trip to Southampton on 21 December, before returning to home soil for a Boxing Day date with West Bromwich Albion and a meeting with Stoke City on 28 December.

The New Year starts at Old Trafford against Manchester United, before March brings another derby double-header against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the 8th and a visit from Arsenal a week later.

Spurs will end their season with a trip to West Ham United and a home date with Aston Villa on the final day.

was there, it was embarrassing - the team looked totally unbalanced from the off, the defence was woeful and when Mikel came off injured it got even worse with nobody in front of them. Up front on several occasions we had opportunities and nobody would shoot - it was a complete farse! On the back of Salah's performance I'm glad there is talk of getting shot...

reat to see Tommy Rosicky getting some love. A wonderful player. Such a pity we lost so long to injury. I was so excited when we signed him, this resurgence only makes the absences seem more of a lost opportunity.
