Willian: Up for sale as Anzhi owner looks to reduce financial commitment

Spurs technical director Franco Baldini is reported to be in talks with both Anzhi Makhachkala and Roma amid suggestions of a fee, claimed to be in the region of £93million, having been agreed with Real Madrid for the sale of Bale.

Sky Bet have suspended betting on Willian's next club after taking bets at as short as 1/10 for Spurs to see off competition from Liverpool to secure his services.

The Brazilian playmaker is available despite only joining Anzhi Makhachkala in January as their owner Suleiman Kerimov scales back his financial commitment to the Russian club.

The north London outfit have also been cut to 1/3 to sign Argentinian winger Lamela, with both players reported to command fees of around £30m.

The developments come amid Bale's odds on leaving Spurs being cut further, with the Welshman now 4/1 not to move before the close of the transfer window.

Sky Bet Football Trader Chris Spicer said: "Having seen Spurs and Liverpool see-saw between favourites on Monday, the money has all been for the Brazilian to head to north London, with punters still backing the move to happen at odds as short as 1/10.

"Lamela has also been well backed to join, with both deals seemingly dependent on Bale leaving, which is looking more likely by the day."

ow is the time for Allardyce to finally get a chance at a big club please. He is likely to have a number of great offers for his services this summer, but who will he choose? Will it be Liverpool, Real Madrid, Dortmund or Man City?
