The 17-year-old striker scored seven goals as Sweden reached the finals in the UAE before being beaten by Nigeria.

Reports in Scandinavia claim Tottenham and Liverpool have an interest in Berisha, but his club insist there has been no contact with anyone and they are hoping to tie him down to a long-term deal.

"We will have to talk with him," Halmstads sports director Mikael Kaller told Sportbladet.

"We haven't got any offers, but I have heard from his agent that there is interest in him."

The player added to SVT Sport: "I have focused on the World Cup. My agent said there are clubs interested, but I don't know which."

His agent Anders Karlsson said: "Valmir was good throughout the European Championship and then the World Cup. now, the whole trip.

"There has been a lot of interest and there are now concrete offers."

I

expect Pulis to have a nice Christmas dinner with his family- probably all sitting around the table wearing Christmas themed baseball caps, before he gets the call. Realistically he could end up at any number of clubs, it'll be interesting to see which club folds first.
