Jordan Rhodes: Continuing his goalscoring formula

Jordan Rhodes: Continuing his goalscoring formula

The 22-year-old joined Rovers after a successful spell in Huddersfield's League One promotion campaign last term and has maintained his touch in front of goal.

The Scotland international has scored nine times in 14 appearances since the move, including his first hat-trick for the club in Saturday's 4-1 win over Peterborough.

"I haven't really thought about it too much (playing in the Championship). I have just tried to take it in my stride and go with my instincts as much as possible," he said.

"I still try to make the same runs and apply the same touches as ever. I am working hard on the training field to better my all-round play. I am not really doing anything different, I am just trying to improve and trying to better myself.

"I don't know if I could do it in the Premier League. We will not know that until it is tried and tested. It would be fantastic, it would be a dream one day to play in the Premier League and see myself on Match of the Day, that would be fantastic."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.
