David Worrall: Attracting interest from a host of clubs ahead of the January tra

Worrall, who was the club's player of the season last term, has again been a stand-out performer for the Shakers this campaign and his suitors have been keeping tabs on his progress.

News of Bury's financial problems after they had a transfer embargo placed on them has alerted a number of clubs to Worrall's possible availability in the January transfer window.

Due to Bury's cash worries they could be forced to sacrifice their prize asset if they receive a suitable offer for the former West Brom youngster.

Crawley Town have held a long-term interest in Worrall and had a bid for the player turned down last summer.

Red Devils boss Richie Barker is a big fan of Worrall having worked with him during his time in charge of Bury and he could rekindle his interest in the New Year.

The likes of Blackpool, Blackburn, Hull, Brighton and Preston are all thought to have watched Worrall in action this season as they monitor his situation.

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
