Barnsley meet Bristol City; Cardiff at struggling Wolves

Barnsley face a second relegation rival in the space of a week and Hull City have the chance to put pressure on leaders Cardiff City in Saturday's Championship programme.

Paul Ince will take charge of his first home game as Blackpool manager, while Mark Robins and Dean Saunders are other recently-appointed bosses hoping for a first three points.

FA Cup quarter-finalists Barnsley have won five of their last six league games to move out of the bottom three and travel to bottom club Bristol City, who have won their last three at Ashton Gate.

Hull City have won their last three matches, all at home, and victory at Bolton Wanderers would move Steve Bruce's side to within two points of Cardiff, albeit potentially for just 24 hours.

New Blackpool boss Ince saw his team lose 2-0 at Leeds United in midweek in his first match and he welcomes a stuttering Leicester City side to Bloomfield Road.

Watford's promotion push is going from strength to strength after successive away wins and Gianfranco Zola's side are back at Vicarage Road to entertain Derby County.

Crystal Palace are also firmly in the mix for a place in the Premier League, but have not won away since November ahead of a trip to Sheffield Wednesday, who have lost once in 11 games.

Peterborough United's survival hopes were given a major boost with a 5-1 thrashing of Millwall in midweek and Darren Ferguson's side are unbeaten in five home matches prior to Birmingham City's visit to London Road.

New Huddersfield boss Robins has seen his team ship 10 goals in his two matches in charge, but the Terriers are unbeaten in six home games in the league, with Ipswich Town the visitors to the John Smith's Stadium.

Billy Davies savoured his first win since returning as Nottingham Forest manager in midweek thanks to the 6-1 mauling of Huddersfield and he will hope for more of the same at Charlton Athletic.

Blackburn and Leeds are not giving up on a play-off spot and the two clubs meet at Ewood Park, with Neil Warnock's men without a Championship away win since the start of December.

Brighton & Hove Albion are two points outside the top six after a three-match unbeaten run and entertain a Burnley side without a win in four games.

Two out-of-form teams meet at The Riverside in front of the Sky Sports cameras as sixth-placed Middlesbrough, on a run of one win in eight games, playing host to a Millwall team on a five-match losing streak.

On Sunday, leaders Cardiff travel to Molineux to tackle a Wolves side without a win in seven games since Saunders took charge and which dropped into the relegation zone after a midweek defeat at Barnsley.
