Paul Robinson: Set to miss rest of the season due to back surgery

The former Leeds and Tottenham shot-stopper is due to go under the knife to correct the minor problem.

Although the injury is not serious, the operation will mean Robinson will miss the rest of this season's Championship campaign.

Robinson's future at Ewood Park has been the subject of conjecture for some time with the former England man finding himself frozen out of the first-team picture over the last few months.

The 33-year-old's last start came against Championship leaders Cardiff in December with Jake Kean promoted to No.1 keeper
