Gary Bowyer: Would be willing to take a look at Amer Abdulrahman

The 24-year-old has been strongly linked with a switch to Ewood Park, with the deputy chairman of his current employers, Bani Yas, revealing that contact has been made by Rovers regarding a possible season-long loan.

He has suggested that a move is already in place, but Bowyer insists that is not the case.

Blackburn are willing to take a look at the UAE international, but would only be willing to take him on board after an initial trial period.

Bowyer said in the Lancashire Telegraph: "When the name got mentioned as a season-long loan, I don't know where they get the season-long loan from.

"If the player was someone we would be interested in, we're not just going to take somebody on a season-long loan straight away.

"We would always make sure we've had a look at them."

Asked if Abdulrahman could be taken on trial, he added: "I don't know, he's another name that's on the list."
