Ian Evatt: Training with Blackburn in pre-season

The 31-year-old defender missed nine months of last season with Blackpool due to a knee injury but is now fully fit again and in recent weeks has been working on his fitness at England HQ St George's Park.

Evatt, who was Blackpool's longest serving player with more than 200 games under his belt, is believed to be attracting attention from a number of Championship clubs.

The former Derby County star is now is raring to prove himself ahead of the new season and is training with Blackburn with a view to earning a permanent deal.
