Morten Gamst Pedersen: Blackburn legend leaves for Turkey

The 31-year-old has been with Rovers since 2004, making just under 350 appearances for them in all competitions.

But he was left out in the cold by new manager Gary Bowyer in the early part of the 2013-14 season and then told he could leave on a free transfer.

He was linked with a move to Denmark with FC Copenhagen, but instead it is the Turkish Super Lig that he will be plying his trade in for the rest of this season and beyond.

Karabukspor are enjoying a positive start to the campaign with four points from their opening two games, and they sit in second place behind leaders Besiktas, the only team in Turkey's top division with a 100% record.

P

robably the first list I've come across in a long time where I agree with a large majority of what was written. Can't agree with everything though, Zaba has had an awful season by his standards, I'd put Monreal (a player who I've never rated) up there, gotta give credit where it's due, he's really stepped up his game.
