Jordan Rhodes: Suffered a broken hand against Belgium

The striker has scored four times in his last two Rovers outings and netted in the 1-1 draw at Turf Moor last year.

However, his place in Gary Bowyer's XI this Saturday has been cast in doubt after Scotland boss Gordon Strachan confirmed he had left their set-up ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Macedonia because of a broken hand.

Rhodes sustained the injury in Friday night's loss to Belgium and Blackburn will hope he can feature against the Clarets, who have not beaten their arch rivals since 1979.

t's a bloody good goal, though. Sh!t, the kid's gonna be the worlds best before we know it, isn't he? He's got the touch of genius in him. Like Neymar, but with muscles and stuff. He's doing a Ronaldo as we watch. He's bulked up to be able to ride the tackles, but he's improved technically as well. His touch is sublime. Bugger.
