Grant Hanley: Will miss Scotland's trip to Poland this week

Blackburn defender Grant Hanley has withdrawn from Strachan's squad ahead of Wednesday's match in the National Stadium in Warsaw.

Norwich winger Robert Snodgrass already pulled out ahead of his team's 4-1 defeat by Aston Villa earlier on Sunday, because of a recurring muscle problem.

The Scottish Football Association announced on Saturday that Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths would replace Snodgrass.

Griffiths may find himself in the starting team following his hat-trick for the Scottish champions in the 5-0 thrashing of Inverness on Saturday.

Speaking after that match on the possibility of winning his fifth cap, Griffiths said: "It is a bonus. I am absolutely buzzing to go."
