The 19-year-old Nancy left-back has also been linked with a potential January move to Paris Saint-Germain or Aston Villa.

All three clubs have been impressed by the French U20 youngster and he could be made available for as little as £2million, despite signing his first professional contract with the French club just last year.

Haidara told the website Tuttomercatoweb.com: "Fiorentina are a great club and I'd like to play there.

"I've heard good things about (head coach, Vincenzo) Montella and I like how his team plays. I would be very happy to play in Serie A.

"PSG are also a great team, but I would really like to play my football in Italy. My favourite team is AC Milan and I dream of one day playing at the San Siro."

Haidara has also been linked with a move to Tottenham and he told Skysports.com: "Spurs is a top team and I'm proud to be linked with them. I want to play in England one day, but at this time I owe a lot to Nancy."
