The forward is rumoured to have attracted interest within France, but the Ivory Coast international has now made it clear that he also wishes to leave the country.

Speculation has linked Aston Villa with a bid for Kone, who scored six league goals as his Nimes side finished eighth in Ligue 2.

German side Fortuna Dusseldorf were also reportedly interested on Kone, but their relegation from the Bundesliga may hamper a bid.

"To play in either the Bundesliga or the Premier League will be a dream come true," Kone told Sky Sports.

"I am 30 years old. It is time for me to see something else than the French league.

"I am relaxed and waiting for offers."

hould have stayed because we carried him for 6.5 years. And then he has a breakthrough season, and was gone soon after. MU fans, you would be as disgusted had C Ronaldo left in 2007 and not 2009.

ood grief. Someone guessed that the form English player at the moment might be in his national side with some other players? And that's espionage? Now if they discovered that Emile Heskey was going to be in the starting line up.... at right back.... THAT would be espionage. Give it a rest Roy.
