Haris Vuckic: Has vowed to return from injury stronger than ever

The Slovenian suffered cruciate ligament damage in an Under 21s game back at Aston Villa back in October, and he was told that he would not feature again this season.

Vuckic is yet to establish himself as a regular at St James' Park but he is already looking forward to playing football again.

"I'm only thinking about returning and if everything goes to plan, I will be playing again in four months' time. And when I return, I will return even stronger," he told Ekipa.

"Now I'm okay. My battle with injury goes by plan, doctors and physiotherapists are happy with my progress. It gets better from day to day.

"It is still hard but I don't feel sorry for myself - it would be a tougher job to do if I would. I'm always positive; nothing will stop me, not even my injuries. "
