Amido Balde: Keen to make the move to the Premier League

Balde currently plies his trade for Vitoria Guimaraes in Portugal and his impressive form this season has reportedly fuelled interest from a number of clubs.

Marseille, Rennes and Lille are understood to be keen on taking Balde to France, but it is the speculation that Newcastle and Everton are tracking his progress that has excited the 21-year-old.

He is thrilled to hear that he may be on the radar of such clubs, and hopes to make the move to the Premier League to test himself at the highest level.

"I am flattered by the newspaper reports," said Balde. "If there is Premier League interest in a player, it means you are doing well.

"To be honest, I want to play in the Premier League because the best players are there.

"If the opportunity is there, I really want to take it. I hope my dream comes true."
