Cheick Tiote: Has no plans to leave Newcastle after being linked with a move to

The Ivory Coast international has been a key player for the Magpies since making the move to St James' Park from FC Twente in 2010.

He has been linked with a move elsewhere this summer and Lokomotiv Moscow are reportedly keen to lure him to Russia.

Tiote admits it would be wrong to rule out anything but insists he is happy at Newcastle and will let the club decide on his future.

He said: "I have a contract with Newcastle. Unless they want to do business with another club, I will be a Newcastle player.

"I do enjoy the Premier League and want to play there for many years, but you never know in football."
