Moussa Sissoko: Enjoying life in England

Moussa Sissoko: Enjoying life in England

Sissoko joined Newcastle from Toulouse in January and has impressed during his brief spell in English football.

Speaking to L'Equipe, Sissoko said: "I don't know if Le Championnat is more defensive. Considering what I am experiencing at Newcastle, it is much more tactical.

"In England, teams start the game to win, score quickly and score as many goals as possible.

"In Ligue 1, we play the first half to not concede a goal. After half-time, we try to score one goal. In France, one goal is often enough."

Although he has been in England less than a year, Sissoko is convinced that the Premier League is one of the most exciting leagues in the world.

Sissoko added: "It is exciting to play in the Premier League. That is the reason why a lot of French players are dreaming of signing for an English club.

"The game in the Premier League is quite something."

hould have stayed because we carried him for 6.5 years. And then he has a breakthrough season, and was gone soon after. MU fans, you would be as disgusted had C Ronaldo left in 2007 and not 2009.

ood grief. Someone guessed that the form English player at the moment might be in his national side with some other players? And that's espionage? Now if they discovered that Emile Heskey was going to be in the starting line up.... at right back.... THAT would be espionage. Give it a rest Roy.
