Abdisalam Ibrahim: Attracting interest from Premier League clubs

Ibrahim is currently on loan at Norwegian side Stromsgodset and he helped them to a winning start to the new Tippeligaen season with a man-of-the-match performance in Sunday's 2-0 defeat of Sandnes Ulf.

The 21-year-old is highly-rated at Manchester City and he was watched in action against Sandnes by the club's Football Development Executive Patrick Vieira and the Frenchman admitted after the game he was impressed by Ibrahim.

Ibrahim has found his first-team chances limited at City and a number of Premier League clubs are thought to monitoring his situation at the Etihad Stadium.

The likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton, West Ham and West Brom are all thought to be keeping tabs on Ibrahim's progress at Stromsgodset.

The powerful midfielder sees his current deal at City expire in 2014 and Ibrahim admits he will make a decision on his future once he returns to Manchester from his loan spell at Stromsgodset.

"I am happy the way that the season has started and it is nice to hear Patrick Vieira was here to watch me," Ibrahim told Sky Sports.

"I want to continue improving and remain focused on my game and we will see in the summer what Manchester City plan to do with me."
