Javi Garcia: Believes Man City can make the impossible possible

The 26-year-old midfielder, who joined from Benfica in the summer for £15.8million, has not drawn a line under claiming his first medal for the club.

And the Spaniard says Roberto Mancini's side are still dreaming of a domestic double with a Wembley FA Cup semi-final against either United or Chelsea to come.

"It is still possible because there are still nine games left and that is 27 points," he told the club's official website.

"We know that it's difficult, but it is not impossible. We're Manchester City and we have to fight until the end of the season. We have to win every game and try to put pressure on Manchester United.

"We have the FA Cup too and we are really focused on trying to win that competition as well.

"It will be a fantastic game. Whoever we play against, whether it's Chelsea or Manchester United, it will be a great game.

"It's the sort of match we all want to play in and it will be a special venue too - it's a trophy that we really want to win."

I

think all those names linked to United exits make sense. Kagawa has never really looked like hitting the form he had at Dortmund and Fellaini is radioactive after last season (even though I think he's been unfairly singled out for criticism). Nani and Anderson have had more than their fair share of chances so they are done, and Hernandez deserves better than warming a bench.
