Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, Everton, Fulham and Swansea are all thought to be interested in 22-year-old Ibrahim, currently on loan with Stromsgodset in his home country and about to enter the final year of his City contract.

Ibrahim has made two more appearances for City after his debut in a fourth round FA Cup tie in 2010 at Scunthorpe, where he spent two months on loan the following year.

That was followed by a spell with Dutch side NEC Nijmegan before City reached an agreement with Stromsgodset in August 2012.

City's links with the Norwegian club, based in Drammen, have previously seen Mohammed Abu, Omar Elabdellaoui and Razak Nuhu gain experience in Norway's Eliteserien, currently headed by Stromsgodset.

Ibrahim, part of the Norway side including Elabdellaoui that progressed to the semi-finals of the European Under 21 Championship at England's expense, wants to carry on playing regular football once his current deal expires.

"At the moment I'm focusing on the tournament but from what I know from my advisors, there is interest from Premier League clubs," Ibrahim told Sky Sports.

"I will know my future once I get back with Man City after my loan finishes 30th of June. But I would love to play in the Premier League next season, week in week out as it is the best league in the world."

Norway's excellent win over England helped them secure a place in the knock-out phase of the European Championships, where they will face the much-fancied Spain side.

"I'm very happy we beat England and a good draw against Italy even though we conceded equaliser virtually the last kick of the game," added Ibrahim, who has made two substitute appearances at the tournament.

"We are very excited to be facing Spain on Saturday, who are for me one of the best teams.

"If you want to win a tournament like this you have got to play against the best and beat them."

think Liverpool should start trying alternative therapy now, given that Sturridge's hips and knees are apparently unfathomable to modern medicine. Voodoo, acupuncture, healing oils, rolling in the snow after a hot bath, its all got to be worth a go now.
