The new manager at the Etihad Stadium is not making predictions ahead of City's opening fixture against Newcastle, live on Monday Night Football.
The 59-year-old Chilean admitted: "We are absolutely ready. We have had a very good pre-season, working for about 40 days with all the players, knowing each other more.
"I think we are in very good shape to start the Premier League.
"We had a programme for the whole pre-season. Each week we made all the work we need.
"We played seven friendly matches with different starting elevens so most of them had an average of minutes very similar to each other.
"We are all settled. I don't know what happens with other clubs but next Monday, eight o'clock, we will see if it was a good pre-season."
