Sergio Aguero: Says Manchester City must improve away from home

City have been in sensational form in winning all their league games at the Etihad Stadium this season, but have struggled on their travels and suffered defeats at Cardiff City, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Sunderland.

Aguero is fully aware that the title might be decided by the smallest of margins and has urged his City team-mates to raise their game away from home.

"For me, Manchester City must fight all year for the title," the striker told Manchester City's official website.

"We have the squad to win the Premier League and we need to be consistent. We must try to stop making mistakes away from home because at the end of the season it could make all the difference.

"At the Etihad Stadium, we are doing well. We are strong but away we must improve."

Aguero been one of the Premier League's star performers so far this season and has struck up an exciting partnership with summer recruit Alvaro Negredo, but he has warned that there is still more to come.

He said: "I think I am playing well. I've had a good start to the season. Now I have to keep it up and play all the matches like that.

"Apart from the goals, the most important thing for me is the victory. I think the majority of my goals have helped the team get three points and that's very important.

"Alvaro arrived in the summer and has adapted very well. We have developed a good partnership together quite quickly.

"We need to keep it like that and try to improve the partnership because obviously we want to do important things with this club.

"I think the whole squad is playing well. Samir (Nasri) and (David) Silva are in great form at the moment which is good because they keep the ball so well for the team and it helps the forwards."

heyremind me of Utd's treble winning side. Swashbuckling and risk prone. We ha Jaap Stam to paper over the cracks at the back though. Not sure they have their Jaap yet.

he solution is to not feel sorry for any of Jabba, Gold or Sullivan. They're all deeply unpleasant and all deserve each other. If only West Ham would sign Barton and Suarez then no one would ever need to despise any other club.
