The Ivorian appeared to kick out at Ricky van Wolfswinkel during Saturday's goalless draw at Carrow Road, but referee Jonathan Moss took no action.

FA chiefs are waiting on Moss's official report but could still slap Toure with a three-match ban for violent conduct if it transpires the injury-time altercation was missed by the match officials.

City host Sunderland in the Premier League on Wednesday, Chelsea in the FA Cup on Saturday, and Stoke in the top flight the following weekend.

Asked about the incident after the game, boss Manuel Pellegrini appeared unconcerned.

"I didn't see it and I'm not concerned about that," he said.

However, Norwich manager Chris Hughton believes the incident may have been worth a red card.

He said: "It did go unnoticed and there was no doubt there was a slight kick out.

"There was certainly something, but whether that was enough for a red card, then that is for the referee to decide on.

"It was a minimal incident in the game, and the bigger factor was it was a good team performance by us."

hould have stayed because we carried him for 6.5 years. And then he has a breakthrough season, and was gone soon after. MU fans, you would be as disgusted had C Ronaldo left in 2007 and not 2009.

ood grief. Someone guessed that the form English player at the moment might be in his national side with some other players? And that's espionage? Now if they discovered that Emile Heskey was going to be in the starting line up.... at right back.... THAT would be espionage. Give it a rest Roy.
