Josh McEachran: Injury better than anticipated

The 19-year-old limped out of the England Under-21s side's 2-0 victory over Northern Ireland on Tuesday evening and it was initially feared he could be sidelined for some time.

However, manager Tony Mowbray has revealed the damage is not as bad as was first feared, and he could still head for South Wales.

He said: "The diagnosis is better than anticipated.

"We will assess him over the next two days and make a decision whether he's coming to Cardiff or not. But he's not ruled out - he has a chance."

Meanwhile, Mowbray has been nominated for the Championship Manager of the Month award for October.
