Boro had made a shock deadline day move their former striker - who began his career with the club.

But the player has made it clear he does not want to drop down to the Championship and his representatives have told Sky Sports that he has ruled out a move.

Graham is still hopeful that he can secure a move away from Swansea on Thursday, with Sunderland remaining firm favourites for his signature - although they are yet to agree a deal for him.
