Kevin Thomson: Has left Middlesbrough

The 28-year-old joined Boro in 2010 when then manager Gordon Strachan paid Rangers £2million for his signature.

But Thomson has suffered with constant injuries, since his move and has played just 47 league games since his move.

Now Boro and Thomson have come to agreement over the remaining 18-months on his contract, and he is now free to find a new club.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old forward Jake Fowler has joined Stockport County on a one-month loan deal.
