Kei Kamara: Set for Middlesbrough debut

The 29-year-old Sierra Leone international, who scored in a 2-2 Sky Bet Championship draw at Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night, is set to line up against Bournemouth at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday, and he is relishing the prospect.

Kamara told the Evening Gazette: "There have been some great players coming through the place, so for me to come here and be part of a team that's going to battle to put the club back where it belongs is fantastic.

"When you say 'Middlesbrough Football Club', people expect them to be one of the top teams in the Premier League.

"When he (my agent) said the name of this club and I was able to speak to the coach, that sold it to me.

"You step into this place that's how you know it's a Premier League calibre club."
