The 20-year-old started six games for Pools during his initial one-month loan spell and manager Colin Cooper was keen to keep him at the club.

"We're delighted to be able to keep Matty here for another month," Cooper told the club's official website.

"Obviously with youth loans you have to take it month by month but I'm really pleased that Matty is enjoying what he's doing and he's with us for another 28 days.

"He wants to get out into the big wide world and test himself - he did it with Yeovil last year and we're pleased he's here doing it with us this year and we'll keep him as long as possible."

t's a bloody good goal, though. Sh!t, the kid's gonna be the worlds best before we know it, isn't he? He's got the touch of genius in him. Like Neymar, but with muscles and stuff. He's doing a Ronaldo as we watch. He's bulked up to be able to ride the tackles, but he's improved technically as well. His touch is sublime. Bugger.
