Martin Jol: Is confident his side will soon turn their form around

Bryan Ruiz's second-half strike was not enough to prevent another defeat for the Cottagers, who have now won just once in 12 Premier League games and sit just four points above the drop zone.

Jol was pointed to a lack of calmness in front of goal as the main reason for his side's defeat as well as sloppy defending for both of Swansea's goals.

However, the Dutchman is confident they will soon turn their form around if they maintain their level of performance.

"We played in the way we wanted to play, if you compare this with the last couple of months I think this was our best game," he told Sky Sports. "And from all these attempts you could say we lacked a bit of calmness and at times the final ball was not that great.

"But I think we gifted them the two goals, and of course you should score more goals to deserve wins so I think they will go home and will be very happy with the win.

"For us it's important we keep our good players fit and they weren't fit over the last few months so our results were not even indifferent, with five or six draws, one win and five or six defeats.

"So when we can strengthen then we will try and do that but the main thing is to get all the players on the board and try to get our points in the next couple of games because if we play the way we played today I'm 100% certain results will come."
