David Stockdale: Feels he needs to be playing regularly

The 27-year-old goalkeeper is tired of filling back-up duties at Craven Cottage, with there no indication that his situation will improve any time soon.

He feels he needs to be playing regularly at this stage of his career, and has taken in a number of loan spells in an effort to get games.

The latest of those has seen him link up with Championship promotion hopefuls Hull, for the second time this season, and Stockdale concedes that he would be open to the idea of staying at the KC Stadium full-time.

"It's a possibility," he said.

"I have to think about it, especially if Hull go up.

"It has been very frustrating at Fulham. There have been bits here and there but that's not down to me; they have a goalkeeper (Mark Schwarzer) who is doing very well."
