Martin Jol is keen to add forward options ahead of the January transfer window and the former Liverpool forward has emerged as a target.

The 23-year-old has netted just seven league goals in two seasons with the Trotters in a largely disappointing spell that included relegation from the Premier League last season.

But Jol is believed to be anxious to boost his options at Craven Cottage and would look to Ngog to provide short-term cover for the likes of Dimitar Berbatov, Hugo Rodallega and Mladen Petric.

The former France Under 21 international joined Bolton in 2011 after spending three years at Liverpool.
