Eyong Enoh: Has been the subject of enquiry by Fulham

The 26-year-old Cameroon international moved to the Dutch giants from feeder club Ajax Cape Town in 2008.

However, he has struggled for first-team action this season, making just seven appearances, five of those from the bench.

Fulham boss Martin Jol knows all about Enoh's talents following his spell as Ajax boss during the 2009/10 season.

He has now made tentative enquires about a deal to bring the defensive midfielder to the Premier League ahead of the transfer deadline.

When quizzed about a potential deal for Enoh, Ajax technical director Marc Overmars confirmed Fulham had been in contact but stressed a transfer was far from complete.

"Negotiations has to start up first," Overmars told De Telegraaf. "Nothing is sure for now."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
