Klaus Allofs: On the verge of sealing Malanda deal

Despite having held talks at Craven Cottage last week ahead of a proposed transfer, it seems Wolfsburg have beaten Martin Jol to the capture of the Belgium Under-21 midfielder.

The 18-year-old has agreed personal terms on a deal until June 2017, but could stay with current club SV Zulte-Waregem on loan for the season.

"We are actually sorting out deals of a transfer," Allofs told kicker-Sportmagazin.

"We have been tracking the player for quite a long period of time.

"He has been defensive midfielder as much as a central defender, and has been in great form in both roles for his club."
