Rene Meulensteen: Says he is focusing on keeping Fulham in the Premier League

The likes of Dimitar Berbatov, Philippe Senderos, Aaron Hughes, Damien Duff, Steve Sidwell and Giorgios Karagounis all have deals set to expire in the summer.

Despite this, Meulensteen insists he is not concerned with negotiating new contracts just yet with his side currently occupying 19th place in the Premier League.

"It's still early days," he told the Fulham and Hammersmith Chronicle.

"For me, it's about making sure we keep the momentum that we have created going, get more points on the board and stabilise ourselves in the league.

"Then, like any club, you need to strategically look to the future and to look what needs to be extended. That is not something that has to be discussed over the next two or three weeks."
