Nouha Dicko: Returns to Wigan from Blackpool loan

The 20-year-old, who returned to Bloomfield Road after playing a part in their march to the Championship play-off final last term, scored five goals in 22 games for the Seasiders this season.

All but two of those appearances came as a substitute and Pool boss Michael Appleton revealed Latics were unhappy at the amount of game time on offer to the French youngster.

"They've recalled him obviously because of his lack of first-team minutes, which we've got to respect," Appleton told Blackpool's official website.

Dicko's fellow forward Wes Thomas has returned to Bournemouth following the end of his own loan spell.

Thomas is Appleton's only signing for Blackpool to date and he scored three goals in nine matches.

Elsewhere, veteran midfielder Barry Ferguson and 20-year-old forward Tom Barkhuizen are back at Bloomfield Road loan spells with neighbours Fleetwood.

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
