Sky Sports rounds up the Premier League transfers on deadline day
David Beckham and a Paris charity were the big winners on transfer deadline day as want-away West Brom striker Peter Odemwingie was left out in the cold.
Former England captain Beckham completed a five-month move to Ligue 1's Paris St Germain and pledged to donate his entire salary to a local children's charity.
In contrast, Odemwingie defied his club and arrived at QPR unannounced in a bid to secure himself a deadline-day move, which saw him locked out of Loftus Road after the Rs refused to speak with him.
Beckham's move to PSG came first with loud fanfare, with the 37-year-old explaining he did not want to return to the Premier League and play against Manchester United, and was convinced to move to France following an unusual offer by the big-spending capital club.
"We decided on something quite unique," Beckham said. "In this time I won't receive any salary. My salary will go to a local children's charity in Paris.
"That's one of the things we are very excited about and proud to do and something I'm not sure has been done before."
Later on, Odemwingie found himself driving back up the M6 with a question mark over his future after QPR refused to speak to him out of respect to West Brom.
A statement by the Baggies revealed the Nigerian was acting against their wishes by travelling to west London.

It said: "The club were extremely disappointed to witness TV footage of Odemwingie arriving at Loftus Road on Thursday evening despite further talks between the two Premier League sides proving fruitless.
"Odemwingie was also never given permission to speak to QPR about a potential move."
West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace added: "Peter has acted wholly unprofessionally. He must now accept the fact he remains under contract for a further 18 months and has to focus on his Albion commitments."

Club record fee
However, QPR did do plenty of other business, signing Christopher Samba for a club record fee from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala earlier in the day.
Tottenham midfielders Jermaine Jenas and Andros Townsend also joined the Rs, on an 18-month deal and loan until the end of the season respectively, while QPR midfielder Alejandro Faurlin joined Italian side Palermo on loan.
Elsewhere, Arsenal managed to complete the signing of Spanish defender Nacho Monreal on a "long-term contract" for an undisclosed fee from Malaga just before the window closed.
Manchester City confirmed Mario Balotelli had completed his move to AC Milan. Milan said Balotelli has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract - the fee is understood to be £19million, rising to £22million.

Stoke were busy as they splashed out £2.5million on United States winger Brek Shea from FC Dallas and signed England goalkeeper Jack Butland for an undisclosed fee from Birmingham, before loaning the player back to Blues for the rest of the season.
Norwich signed striker Luciano Becchio from Leeds, with Steve Morison going the other way in part-exchange.
However, the Canaries failed in their numerous efforts to sign Celtic striker Gary Hooper, with the Scottish Premier League club declining several offers for the 25-year-old.
Swooped
Sunderland swooped for a new striker, completing the signing of Danny Graham from Swansea for £5million on a three-and-a-half-year deal. As a result, Louis Saha has left the Wearside club by mutual consent.
There was movement for Everton as they completed the signing of highly-rated Barnsley defender John Stones for £3million on five-and-a-half-year deal, while midfielder Magaye Gueye left the club to join Ligue 1 club Brest on loan until the end of the season.
Wigan announced that Paul Scharner will return to the DW Stadium on loan from Hamburg for the rest of the season, after he spent more than four years with the Latics before leaving for West Brom in 2010.
Elsewhere, AC Milan's utility player Urby Emanuelson joined Fulham on loan for the rest of the campaign. The Cottagers also acquired PSV Eindhoven defender Stanislav Manolev and Ajax midfielder Eyong Enoh on loan until end of the season.
Yacouba Sylla
Aston Villa sealed the signing of French midfielder Yacouba Sylla from Ligue 2 side Clermont Foot and secured Spurs midfielder Simon Dawkins on loan for the remainder of the season.
Tottenham goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes completed his loan move to German side Hoffenheim while the north London club also confirmed 19-year-old midfielder Alex Pritchard and Ryan Mason had joined Peterborough and Lorient, respectively, on loan.
Elsewhere, Liverpool goalkeeper Alexander Doni is returning to his native Brazil to join Botafogo on a free transfer, while Newcastle signed Swiss teenager Kevin Mbabu from Servette for an undisclosed fee and later announced that Spanish striker Xisco's contract had been mutually terminated.
Reading did not add to the signings of Nick Blackman, Daniel Carrico, Hope Akpan and Stephen Kelly on deadline day as they were unable to complete a mystery club-record deal in time.
