The Republic of Ireland international is under contract with the Russian club until 2014 but the winger is refusing to pen a new deal.

"I have ambitions to play in England and have made it clear I won't be signing a new contract," said McGeady, quoted in the Sunday Mail.

The 26-year-old is likely to spark interest from the likes of Wigan, Everton and Sunderland who have all been linked with the former Celtic man in the past.
