Mike Pollitt: Heading out on loan

Pollitt has moved to fellow Sky Bet Championship club Barnsley on a one-month loan deal while Bingham will link up with Scottish Championship side Falkirk until the end of the year.

Latics boss Owen Coyle told the club's official website: "Both deals are great opportunities for the players; hopefully Mike gets the game time he needs which will help him keep competition strong in the goalkeeping department when he returns.

"He's the ultimate professional and you wouldn't believe he's 41 when you see him in training, which is testament to how well he looks after himself.

"Rakish has fantastic potential and the experience he'll gain from a tough league with Falkirk will serve him very well for his future development."

ll very well selling all midfield and strikers but unless we bring anyone in that is better than what we had then it will be a terrible transfer window in my view. Sorted out the defense but our midfield and striker options look very light.

ove it when Jose accuses others of being defensive, cynical and playing to win. If I was Wenger, I'd get that quote laminated and framed - surely the biggest compliment he's ever received from Mourinho. You've got him riled Arsene - you're relevant again!
