Evans keeps tabs on Dicko

Rotherham United manager Steve Evans would welcome the chance to re-sign Wigan Athletic striker Nouha Dicko on loan.

Nouha Dicko: Wigan striker recently impressed on loan at Rotherham

Dicko recently scored six goals in six appearances for Rotherham, but was recalled by Wigan at the start of the week due to injuries at the DW Stadium.

The youngster was disappointed to see his loan spell cut short and Evans is waiting to see if there is a chance that Dicko could return to Rotherham.

"You'd never say never about getting him back and we'll be following it closely because if he was to be going on loan I know what his choice would be," said Evans in The Star.

"His club, Wigan, have had a couple of injuries and are fully entitled to call him back.

"We'll miss Dicko and he's a top-class person as well. Our chairman and his vice-chairman are fully aware of the situation and that we will always have interest in someone like him and I would love to work with him again."
