Craig Dawson: Linked with a move to Wigan on loan

A host of clubs are keen to take England Under-21 international on a temporary basis with West Brom fielding a number of enquiries for the centre-back.

West Brom boss Pepe Mel has confirmed he is considering loaning out Dawson and that most of the Championship want to sign the 23-year-old.

Dawson has made just one Premier League appearance for the Baggies this season and is thought to be keen to go out and get some regular first-team football under his belt.

Bolton are thought to be one of the clubs interested in signing Dawson after he enjoyed a successful spell on loan at the Reebok Stadium last season.

However, Wigan are believed to be leading the chase with Uwe Rosler keen to bring in the former Rochdale man to bolster his defensive options.

Up front on several occasions we had opportunities and nobody would shoot - it was a complete farse! On the back of Salah's performance I'm glad there is talk of getting shot...

reat to see Tommy Rosicky getting some love. A wonderful player. Such a pity we lost so long to injury. I was so excited when we signed him, this resurgence only makes the absences seem more of a lost opportunity.
