Chris Powell: Knows his side need to improve their home form

The Addicks have won just three times in the league at The Valley this season and also tumbled out of the FA Cup against Huddersfield in front of their own fans last weekend.

By contrast, they have won five times on the road, most recently the thrilling 4-3 New Year's Day victory at in-form Watford.

"We showed on New Year's Day what we can do when we make good decisions and get in good areas and deliver as we did, and we created numerous chances," said Powell.

"We need to do that more at home and (Huddersfield) was a chance for us to get our home form going.

"We've been okay away but we haven't done enough at home in front of our own fans at The Valley this season and I'm looking for us to be better at home in 2013.

"Blackpool will be a tough game and we are going to have to start producing chances for us to finish. That's what you need to do to win games."
