Chris Powell: Charlton boss taking nothing for granted

The Addicks have taken seven points in a week including Saturday's 2-1 win over Leeds, but Powell insists they cannot take survival for granted despite being seven points clear of the drop zone.

He said: "Regardless of what's gone on before, it's about now.

"I want us to just keep going now. We have some tough games coming up with another three in a week starting at Barnsley and then Cardiff away, and then we end it with Wolves.

"So I want us to just recover, enjoy the moment, but not too much, as we have still got five critical and vital games for the remainder of the season.

"It is very tight. I don't think we are safe with 54 points and I don't want my players or anyone else relaxing.

"In normal seasons that would have been fine, but we need to drive on and why not drive on in the remaining five games?"
