Chris Powell: Played down talk of Charlton making the play-offs

Athletic are now just two wins off a top-six place but Powell has played down suggestions their late run of form could see them in with a shot at promotion.

"No (we aren't talking about the play-offs), we might take just one more point," he said.

"The way the fixtures are, we might be safe, but we are going to push on. The real question is can we keep this going for the final four games?

"I just want to savour the moment want to live and savour it with them - the team, the fans it's a great day for us.

"I'm really proud of them today. We go about our business quietly and effectively, but days like this won't come around too often.

"It was one of the best. I won't say the best. To score six on the road - it's up there in my top three."

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
